We've been in a handful of times for a drink as we're close by, but finally had time to try lunch today. Really very good and great value. Sadly not always as easy to find good set lunches as it used to be in France (had one terrible disappointment already this week), but really enjoyed our lunch today. I had a salad of duck gesiers and lardons which had plenty of the main ingredients and a well seasoned but not overpowering dressing. My wife had a chevre tartelette which was a pastry basket with a little quiche filling plus tomato, four small chevres and pesto. Imaginative, tasty and generous. For mains my wife had a piece of roast cod which was well cooked and just simply dressed with a lemon, caper, shallot and butter dressing served with nicely done veg. I had chicken in a satay style sauce with rice. In fact it was more like a mild curry sauce, but still good with a very generous portion of notably tender chicken. The other options on the menu were a Greek salad starter and shepherd's pie. We finished with an excellent creme brulee which was shared as we were both full. This plus two glasses of house wine, a cafe au lait and an espresso was €41. Terrific value for very well cooked food. Can't wait for warmer weather when eating out on the terrace will add even more to the experience.

Nice bar and restaurant in (as the name implies!) the centre of the town. The service was friendly and the food portions very generous. In summer there is a shady outdoor area to sit and eat as well. Recommended.

Loved it. Traditional French café/bar. Down to earth, easy going; we arrived and asked for food, the Chef was off and so the landlady said, "sit down and I'll bring you something ". It was a delicious platter with a variety of tomatoes, beetroot, cheese and charcuterie with some bread and bowls of French fries: simple and delicious. Just go. You will be looked after.

It's a lovely café. The food was very good. I hadn't been there for a while and was glad to make it back. It was a perfect meal for Sunday.
